ee VanLanen the third oldest child of Margaret and Dan Vanlanen has decided to run for office in his home town in Texas. Vanlanen tired of all the mismanaging of the city will run for a local city council seat.
VanLanen hopes to win the seat for the Dallas city council in the upcoming election. Few details are known about his political aspirations however he has said many times that if he were president things would be different.
Peg Vanlanen, mother of the candidate broke the news on Thursday of the campaign however she had no details of when the election is or his reasons for running for office.

FAT CLUB MEETING CANCELLED
The semi weekly meeting of "The Fat Club" was canceled this week due to a family gathering held the Sunday previous or Easter Sunday as it is known in religious circles. After a brief discussion with Eileen "Trixie" Sobieck The Kat decided that everyone had just seen each other at the holiday gathering and that another meeting was not necessary. Confusion over the cancellation met with several members either calling or showing up in person for the meeting. One member Mary "Doats" Meeuwsen expressed outrage over the cancellation without notification.
